Fries Cost Too Much in Onett...
How are you EBers? If you are reading this, you're either bored and/or have nothing better to do. Well, good. This is an improv article, mainly because I don't have a computer right now. Hopefully I'll get it back soon, but until then I have my DC.
I've been an EB fanatic even before I've ever heard of the 'net. Back when it came out, I had a friend who bought the game, all shiny and new and stuff. That was some time ago. I'd look through the player's guide and revel in its coolness, and even try to beat the game a few times. In fact, he still has the game AND the player's guide... too bad we're several states away.
Anyway, I've visited this site quite often. I just haven't tried to do anything that actually makes a difference until now. Err, besides this improv article, that is. I checked out the Interactive Fiction section, and was pretty darn amazed. There was quite a lot of cool IFs, even more than the ones at the EZBoard forum of my friend's (incredibly not real) company, Darkness, Inc. Sure, there were Ifs, just not IFs that people posted on every day! I blame that on my friend's lack of interest. I also guess I oughtta smack myself a few times for not visiting the Starman.net forums sooner.
Now, back to the Earthbound thing. Yeah, everyone should post on an IF a few times. It's fun, and it'll even make you wanna play Earthbond again, whether on the Gray Box of Love (which my friend has,) or on a PC emulation (which is all I've got...) I'd prefer the gray box, but still, any way is fine.
And that's all I gotta say about that, at least until I can think up something else. Be sure to tune in next time, when I examine different stuff in Earthbound for no apparent reason!... no, wait, I do that all the time.
