EarthBound: Episode 1
In support of the both the new Star Wars movies and Ultimoo's theory of Earthbound lineage, this article is written. If Ultimoo's theory is correct, then Earthbound may be VERY closely linked 2 Star Wars. As if PSI and the Force weren't close enough already. You might as well just start calling Buzz Buzz Obi-Wan and Ness Luke....
Think about it, if Geiguile is Ness's father, he would be awfully similar to Anakin Skywalker. Granted the Emperor isn't Vader's farther, as Gigas and Geiguile may be, it's still darned close. Also, note the striking similarities between Mr. Saturn and R2-D2. I bet that if u ever saw R2-D2 eat anything, it would be a Peanut Cheese Bar. No, really! Anyway, since Geiguile was a big evil enemy and is now giving Ness cash to buy weapons, i feel that that is very similar to Vader's betrayal of the emperor in Return if the Jedi. And Jeff is a regular Han Solo....... Not to mention Paula's known disposition to wear her hair in two buns on the side in a manner that makes them look like cinnamon rolls. Who else does that? hmmmm.....
Also, Ness's bike is just like an X-wing. That may be a stretch of logic, actually, this whole thing is a stretch of logic, I'm just trying to prove that archetypal approach doesn't only apply to literature and personalities, it applies to video games (ahem, objects of cult worship) and movies as well. I hope you the idea. If you're lost, you should probably read The Mother Connection, as well as look up archetype in a dictionary or encyclopedia.
